Once you receive written notice from your renter about ending the lease early and moving out, you have 5 business days to start fixing the issue. If you start fixing the issue within 5 business days, your renter can NOT end their lease early.
If you do not start fixing the issue within 5 business days of your renters written notice, they can move out and end their lease.
