The first letter you send to your landlord told them about the rental issue and asked them to fix it. If your landlord did not respond or fix the issue quickly and you want to end your lease early, you'll need to send a second letter.
This second letter will tell your landlord your plan to move out. It will include a detailed description of the issue and the date you plan to end your lease and move out.
